The Three-Magnon Contribution to the Spin Correlation Function in Integer-Spin Antiferromagnetic Chains
Matthew Horton, Ian Affleck

TL;DR
This paper predicts the three-magnon contribution to the spin correlation function in integer-spin antiferromagnetic chains using the exact form factor of the O(3) non-linear sigma model, revealing it to be broad, weak, and comprising less than 2% of the single-magnon intensity.
Contribution
It provides a precise prediction of the three-magnon contribution in integer-spin chains using the exact form factor, highlighting its weak and broad nature.
Findings
Three-magnon contribution is extremely broad and weak.
Integrated intensity of three-magnon contribution is less than 2% of single-magnon.
Predictions are based on the exact form factor of the O(3) non-linear sigma model.
Abstract
The exact form factor for the O(3) non-linear sigma model is used to predict the three-magnon contribution to the spin correlation function, S(q,w), near wavevector q=pi in an integer spin, one-dimensional antiferromagnet. The three-magnon contribution is extrememly broad and extremely weak; the integrated intensity is <2% of the single-magnon contribution.
