A. Foerster, K.E. Hibberd, J.R. Links, I. Roditi

TL;DR
This paper introduces an integrable supersymmetric U model with open boundaries and a boundary impurity, solved using algebraic Bethe ansatz, providing explicit Bethe equations for the system.
Contribution
It presents a new integrable supersymmetric U model with boundary impurity and derives its Bethe ansatz solution, expanding the understanding of boundary effects in integrable systems.
Findings
Model is exactly solvable via algebraic Bethe ansatz
Explicit Bethe ansatz equations are derived
Boundary impurity effects are incorporated into the integrable framework
Abstract
An integrable version of the supersymmetric U model with open boundary conditions and an impurity situated at one end of the chain is introduced. The model is solved through the algebraic Bethe ansatz method and the Bethe ansatz equations are obtained.
