Dynamics of Nonequilibrium Deposition
Vladimir Privman

TL;DR
This paper reviews theoretical models of nonequilibrium deposition processes involving extended particles on various substrates, relevant to colloid, polymer, and biological systems.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive survey of recent theoretical developments in deposition models with surface diffusion on different substrates.
Findings
Summarizes key theoretical models of deposition.
Highlights the role of surface diffusion in deposition dynamics.
Connects models to applications in colloid, polymer, and biological systems.
Abstract
In this work we survey selected theoretical developments for models of deposition of extended particles, with and without surface diffusion, on linear and planar substrates, of interest in colloid, polymer, and certain biological systems.
