TL;DR
This study investigates the critical magnetic behavior of La0.5Sr0.5CoO3 near its transition temperature, determining critical exponents and confirming scaling laws through magnetization data analysis.
Contribution
The paper provides experimental determination of critical exponents and confirms scaling behavior in La0.5Sr0.5CoO3 near the paramagnetic-ferromagnetic transition.
Findings
Critical temperature Tc determined from magnetization data.
Critical exponents β and γ calculated.
Data collapse confirms scaling hypothesis.
Abstract
We have studied the critical behaviour in near the paramagnetic-ferromagnetic transition temperature. We have analysed our dc magnetisation data near the transition temperature with the help of modified Arrott plots, Kouvel-Fisher method. We have determined the critical temperature and the critical exponents, and . With these values of , and , we plot vs . All the data collapse on one of the two curves. This suggests that the data below and above obeys scaling, following a single equation of state.
