Dynamics of transverse correlations in the spin-1/2 isotropic XY chain with a correlated Lorentzian disorder
Oleg Derzhko, Taras Krokhmalskii

TL;DR
This paper investigates how correlated Lorentzian disorder affects the dynamics of transverse $zz$ correlations in a spin-1/2 XY chain, revealing disorder-induced modifications in the structure factor across various parameters.
Contribution
It introduces a numerical analysis of $zz$ correlations in a disordered XY chain with linearly dependent site fields, highlighting the impact of correlated disorder on dynamic structure factors.
Findings
Disorder alters the frequency profiles of the $zz$ dynamic structure factor.
Wave vector and temperature influence the correlation dynamics.
Correlated disorder induces notable changes in the spectral features.
Abstract
Using a numerical approach we examine the dynamics of correlations for the spin- isotropic XY chain with random Lorentzian intersite coupling and transverse field at sites that depends linearly on the neighbouring couplings. We study in detail the wave vector- and frequency-dependent structure factor at different values of Hamiltonian parameters and temperature. We discuss the changes in the frequency profiles of the dynamic structure factor caused by the introduced correlated disorder.
