Magnetic properties of periodic nonuniform spin-1/2 $XX$ chains in a random Lorentzian transverse field
Oleg Derzhko

TL;DR
This paper investigates the magnetic properties of periodic nonuniform spin-1/2 XX chains subjected to a random Lorentzian transverse field, using continued fractions to analyze their density of states, magnetization, and susceptibility.
Contribution
It introduces a novel application of continued fractions to study the magnetic behavior of nonuniform spin chains in random fields.
Findings
Density of states characterized for the chains.
Transverse magnetization behavior analyzed.
Static transverse linear susceptibility computed.
Abstract
Using continued fractions we examine the density of states, transverse magnetization and static transverse linear susceptibility of a few periodic nonuniform spin-1/2 chains in a random Lorentzian transverse field.
