E. Harikumar, C. Nagaraja Kumar, M. Sivakumar

TL;DR
This paper extends the analysis of non-topological chiral solitons in a 1+1D Schrödinger model by including a general self-coupling potential, revealing fixed velocities and calculating associated energy and charge.
Contribution
It introduces a more general self-coupling potential into the model and finds new chiral soliton solutions with fixed velocities, expanding previous results.
Findings
Chiral soliton solutions exist with fixed velocities.
Energy and U(1) charge of solitons are computed.
The model generalizes previous derivative coupling cases.
Abstract
Recently non-topological chiral soliton solutions were obtained in a derivatively coupled non-linear Schr\"odinger model in 1+1 dimensions. We extend the analysis to include a more general self-coupling potential (which includes the previous cases) and find chiral soliton solutions. Interestingly even the magnitude of the velocity is found to be fixed. Energy and U(1) charge associated with this non-topological chiral solitons are also obtained.
