Jun-ichiro Kishine, Kenji Yonemitsu (IMS)

TL;DR
This study investigates how intrachain dimerization and interchain hopping influence the low-energy properties of a quasi-one-dimensional dimerized chain system at quarter filling, using the perturbative renormalization group method.
Contribution
It provides new insights into the effects of dimerization and interchain hopping on low-energy behaviors in quarter-filled systems, comparing TMTTF and TMTSF compounds.
Findings
Differences in low-energy properties between TMTTF and TMTSF compounds.
Impact of interchain hopping on electronic properties.
Role of dimerization in low-energy excitations.
Abstract
Effects of the intrachain dimerization and the interchain one-particle hopping, , in a quasi-one-dimensional dimerized chain system at quarter filling have been studied, based on the perturbative renormalization group (PRG) approach. Based on the results, we discuss difference in the low-energy properties between TMTTF and TMTSF compounds.
