Replica Theory of Granular Media
Jeferson J. Arenzon

TL;DR
This paper introduces a theoretical model for granular media using replica mean field formalism, providing insights into their equilibrium and density-dependent properties under vibration and gravity.
Contribution
It presents a novel infinite range spin glass like model for granular systems analyzed through replica mean field theory.
Findings
Derived equilibrium properties of granular media.
Analyzed effects of vibration and gravity on density.
Provided theoretical predictions for granular behavior.
Abstract
An infinite range spin glass like model for granular systems is introduced and studied through the replica mean field formalism. Equilibrium, density dependent properties under vibration and gravity are obtained.
