TL;DR
This study investigates the magnetic excitation spectra of NaV2O5 using Raman spectroscopy and Monte Carlo calculations, identifying key magnetic excitations and their correspondence with theoretical models.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of magnetic excitations in NaV2O5, combining experimental Raman data with Monte Carlo calculations to interpret the spectra.
Findings
Good agreement between measured and calculated magnetic excitations at specific parameters
Identification of singlet-triplet, singlet-singlet, and two-magnon excitations
Determination of exchange interaction parameters for NaV2O5
Abstract
We present low temperature Raman spectra of single crystal. The assignation of the observed modes is done on the basis of Monte Carlo calculation of excited states of Heisenberg dimerized Hamiltonian, without frustration. We found a good agreement between measured and calculated magnetic excitations for and . The singlet-triplet, singlet-singlet excitations as well as two-magnon mode are observed to be at 66, 127 and 132 cm^{-1}.
