Giulio Casati (University of Milano at Como, Italy), Tomaz Prosen, (University of Ljubljana, Slovenia)

TL;DR
This paper investigates how quantum localization interacts with classical phase space structures in a stadium billiard, providing new insights into quantum chaos and the effects of classical chaos on quantum systems.
Contribution
It offers a novel analysis of quantum localization phenomena in a chaotic billiard, linking quantum behavior to classical phase space structures.
Findings
Quantum localization affects quantum dynamics in chaotic billiards
Classical phase space structures influence quantum properties
New insights into quantum chaos phenomena
Abstract
We study the quantum behaviour of the stadium billiard. We discuss how the interplay between quantum localization and the rich structure of the classical phase space influences the quantum dynamics. The analysis of this model leads to new insight in the understanding of quantum properties of classically chaotic systems.
