Two-component plasma in a gravitational field: Thermodynamics
Gabriel Tellez (Laboratoire de Physique, ENS de Lyon, France)

TL;DR
This paper analyzes the thermodynamics of a two-component plasma under gravity, focusing on calculating its grand potential and deriving a special sum rule relevant to charged colloidal suspensions.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed computation of the grand potential and presents a new sum rule for the two-component plasma in a gravitational field.
Findings
Derived the grand potential of the system
Established a new sum rule for the model
Enhanced understanding of charged colloidal suspensions
Abstract
We revisit the model of the two-component plasma in a gravitational field, which mimics charged colloidal suspensions. We concentrate on the computation of the grand potential of the system. Also, a special sum rule for this model is presented.
