Contribution
It provides the first exact solution for a correlated Kondo impurity model with arbitrary spin in one dimension, including Bethe ansatz equations and thermodynamic properties.
Findings
Exact Bethe ansatz equations derived for the model
Ground state properties analyzed in the thermodynamic limit
Zero-temperature magnetic susceptibility calculated
Abstract
An one dimensional model of a Kondo impurity with arbitrary spin in the presence of electronic correlations is solved exactly. The Bethe ansatz equations are obtained for the case of quadratic dispersion. The ground state is studied in the thermodynamic limit, and the magnetic susceptibility at zero temperature is calculated.
