TL;DR
This study investigates how the magnetic resonance peak in YBa2Cu3O6+x varies with doping levels, providing insights into magnetic excitations in normal and superconducting states through neutron scattering experiments.
Contribution
It presents new experimental data on the doping dependence of the magnetic resonance peak in YBa2Cu3O6+x using inelastic neutron scattering.
Findings
Doping affects the energy and spectral weight of the resonance peak.
The resonance peak's behavior links magnetic excitations to superconductivity.
Results enhance understanding of magnetic interactions in high-Tc cuprates.
Abstract
We report inelastic neutron scattering experiments on the doping dependence of the energy and spectral weight of the sharp magnetic resonance peak in YBa_2 Cu_3 O_{6+x}. These measurements also shed light on the relationship between the magnetic excitations in the normal and superconducting states.
