Weak Randomness for large q-State Potts models in Two Dimensions
Marco Picco

TL;DR
This paper investigates how weak randomness influences two-dimensional q-state Potts models for q > 4, revealing new central charge values and their relationships through a factorization law, advancing understanding of disordered critical systems.
Contribution
It introduces new central charge measurements for disordered Potts models and uncovers a factorization law linking some of these values, providing novel insights into their critical behavior.
Findings
New central charge values for disordered q-state Potts models
Identification of a factorization law relating these values
Enhanced understanding of weak randomness effects on critical phenomena
Abstract
We have studied the effect of weak randomness on q-state Potts models for q > 4 by measuring the central charges of these models using transfer matrix methods. We obtain a set of new values for the central charges and then show that some of these values are related to one another by a factorization law.
