Non-equilibrium fluctuation dissipation relations in binary glasses
Giorgio Parisi

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that in a simple binary glass model, short-time aging occurs and off-equilibrium correlation and response functions align with fluctuation-dissipation relations known from spin glass theory.
Contribution
It shows that fluctuation-dissipation relations apply to binary glasses during short-time aging, extending their relevance beyond spin glasses.
Findings
Short-time aging observed in a binary glass model.
Off-equilibrium functions obey generalized fluctuation-dissipation relations.
Relations are consistent with those derived for spin glasses.
Abstract
We show that at short time aging is realized in a simple model of binary glasses. We find that below the transition point the off-equilibrium correlation functions and response functions are compatible with the relations that were originally derived Cugliandolo Kurchan for generalized spin glasses.
