TL;DR
This paper investigates the structural phases of strongly coupled electronic bilayer liquids using HNC calculations, revealing a series of phase transitions characterized by two-body functions.
Contribution
It presents the first identification of multiple structural phases in strongly coupled bilayer liquids through analysis of two-body correlation functions.
Findings
Discovery of a series of structural phases
Use of HNC calculations to analyze phase behavior
Identification of phase transitions via two-body functions
Abstract
The strongly correlated liquid state of a bilayer of charged particles has been studied via the HNC calculation of the two-body functions. We report the first time emergence of a series of structural phases, identified through the behavior of the two-body functions.
