Comment on Renormalization Group Study of the A+B->0 Diffusion-Limited Reaction
Benjamin P. Lee (NIST), John Cardy (Oxford)

TL;DR
This paper comments on a previous renormalization group study, clarifying that the amplitude of particle density decay in diffusion-limited reactions is equal to the initial density for uncorrelated initial conditions.
Contribution
It corrects a prior calculation by showing that the decay amplitude equals the initial density, clarifying the behavior for uncorrelated initial conditions in diffusion-limited reactions.
Findings
Delta equals initial density n_0 for uncorrelated initial conditions
Corrects previous RG calculations of decay amplitude
Clarifies asymptotic decay behavior in dimensions 2<d<4
Abstract
A recent argument of Oerding shows that our calculation of the quantity Delta, which determines the amplitude of the asymptotic decay of the particle density in d < 2 < 4, was in error. Instead it is simply given by Delta = n_0, the initial density, for uncorrelated initial conditions.
