B. Elattari, V. Kagalovsky, H.A. Weidenmueller (MPI fuer, Kernphysik, Heidelberg)

TL;DR
This paper introduces a simple model to study how resonances affect the scattering of light or electrons in disordered media, highlighting the resonance enhancement effect.
Contribution
It provides a new, simplified model to analyze resonance effects in chaotic scattering, offering initial results that deepen understanding of this phenomenon.
Findings
Resonances significantly modify scattering behavior.
The model demonstrates resonance enhancement effects.
Initial results show altered transmission properties.
Abstract
The passage of light or of electrons through a disordered medium is modified in the presence of resonances. We describe a simple model for this problem, and present first results.
