The Edge Currents and Edge Potentials in IQHE (revised Version)
F. Ghaboussi

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that the potential drop length in IQHE samples is a universal quantum length determined by the magnetic field and quantum uncertainty principles.
Contribution
It introduces the concept of a universal length scale for potential drops in IQHE based on quantum mechanics.
Findings
Potential drop length is universal for given magnetic field.
Quantum uncertainty relation underpins the length scale.
Provides insight into edge phenomena in IQHE.
Abstract
It is shown that an observed length in the potential drops across IQHE samples is a universal length for a given value of magnetic field which results from the quantum mechanical uncertainty relation.
