Quantum Hall Effect and Chaotic Motion in Phase Space
F. Ghaboussi

TL;DR
This paper explores the connection between the quantum Hall effect and chaotic dynamics in phase space, showing that the quantum Hall diagram resembles a stepped pattern seen in chaotic phase space motion.
Contribution
It introduces a novel perspective linking quantum Hall phenomena with classical chaos in phase space, highlighting their structural similarities.
Findings
Quantum Hall diagram resembles stepped chaotic phase space patterns
Chaotic motion in phase space can model quantum Hall behavior
Provides a new framework for understanding quantum Hall effects
Abstract
We discuss the relation between the Quantum Hall behaviour of charged carriers and their chaotic motion in phase space. It is shown that the quantum Hall diagram is comparable with the stepped diagram in phase space of a chaotic motion.
