Protein Folding and Spin Glass
S. Suresh Rao, Somendra M. Bhattacharjee

TL;DR
This paper explores the relationship between protein folding and spin glass transitions, proposing methods to observe the transition and identify key quantities involved.
Contribution
It establishes a direct connection between protein folding and spin glass theory, suggesting new ways to observe and analyze the transition.
Findings
Identifies quantities needed to describe the spin glass transition in proteins
Proposes a method to observe the spin glass transition in protein systems
Links protein folding dynamics to spin glass phenomena
Abstract
We explicitly show the connection between the protein folding problem and spin glass transition. This is then used to identify appropriate quantities that are required to describe the transition. A possible way of observing the spin glass transition is proposed.
