Series Analysis of Tricritical Behavior: Mean-Field Model and Slicewise Pade Approximants
Joan Adler, Vladimir Privman

TL;DR
This paper introduces a mean-field model to test series analysis methods for tricritical points, deriving a high-order series for magnetization and applying slicewise Pade approximants to analyze tricritical behavior.
Contribution
It presents a new mean-field model and applies slicewise Pade approximants to analyze tricritical series, demonstrating the method's effectiveness.
Findings
Derived a 50th order series for magnetization.
Applied slicewise Pade approximants to tricritical series.
Validated the method on the proposed model.
Abstract
A mean-field model is proposed as a test case for tricritical series analyses methods. Derivation of the 50th order series for the magnetization is reported. As the first application this series is analyzed by the traditional slicewise Pade approximant method popular in earlier studies of tricriticality.
