Josephson Effect in Superconductors with Odd-Gap Pairing
M.V.Sadovskii

TL;DR
This paper investigates the Josephson effect in superconductors with odd-gap pairing, revealing conditions under which the Josephson current is suppressed or finite depending on the pairing symmetry and tunneling configuration.
Contribution
It demonstrates that the Josephson current vanishes when one or both superconductors have odd-gap pairing, providing new insights into tunneling behavior in unconventional superconductors.
Findings
Josephson current is zero if one or both superconductors have odd-gap pairing.
The Josephson current is zero when tunneling occurs between a traditional and an odd-gap superconductor.
The Josephson current is finite when tunneling occurs between two odd-gap superconductors.
Abstract
It is shown that the Josephson current in ---geometry is zero, if one or both superconductors possess the gap odd over . For the odd-frequency pairing the Josephson current is zero in case of the tunneling between the traditional and odd-gap superconductor and is finite for the tunneling between two odd-gap superconductors.
