Correlation energy of fractional-quantum-Hall-effect systems of composite fermions
P.Sitko, L.Jacak

TL;DR
This paper calculates the RPA correlation energy and collective modes for composite fermion systems at specific fractional quantum Hall effect fillings, confirming that transmutations do not alter the ground-state energy.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed RPA correlation energy and collective mode analysis for composite fermions at fillings 1/3, 1/5, and 2/5 in the fractional quantum Hall effect.
Findings
RPA correlation energy computed for specified fillings
Collective modes characterized for these systems
Ground-state energy remains unchanged by transmutations
Abstract
We find the RPA correlation energy and collective modes of the systems of composite fermions corresponding to the fillings of , , in the fractional quantum Hall effect. It is verified that transmutations to composite fermions do not change the ground-state energy.
