TL;DR
This paper presents an exact solution to a one-dimensional fermion model with interchain tunneling, revealing superconducting properties and bound states through Bethe ansatz analysis.
Contribution
It introduces an exactly solvable fermion model with interchain tunneling, demonstrating superconducting correlations and bound states.
Findings
Interchain tunneling induces Cooper pair-like bound states.
Correlation functions show superconducting behavior.
A threshold energy is necessary to break the bound states.
Abstract
A fermion model consisting of two chains with interchain tunneling is formulated and solved exactly by the Bethe ansatz method. The interchain tunneling leads to Cooper pair like bound states and a threshold energy is required to overcome the binding energy. The correlation functions manifest superconducting properties.
