Marco Picco, Felix Ritort

TL;DR
This paper investigates the behavior of the 4d Ising spin glass in a magnetic field by analyzing the order parameter distribution and comparing it with the SK model, providing insights into theoretical frameworks.
Contribution
It offers a numerical analysis of the 4d Ising spin glass in a magnetic field and compares results with the SK model, exploring droplet and mean field theories.
Findings
Differences in order parameter distribution between models.
Insights into the applicability of droplet and mean field theories.
Numerical evidence supporting theoretical frameworks.
Abstract
We study the order parameter distribution P(q) in the 4d Ising spin glass with couplings in a magnetic field. We also compare these results with simulations for the infinite ranged model (i.e. SK model.) Then we analyse our numerical results in the framework of the droplet picture as well as in the mean field approach.
