Mohammad Katoot, Ulrich H.E. Hansmann, Tarik Celik

TL;DR
This paper evaluates the multicanonical algorithm's effectiveness by simulating the van Hemmen spin glass model, successfully reproducing exact results and analyzing key physical quantities across all temperatures.
Contribution
It demonstrates the multicanonical algorithm's capability to accurately simulate a mean field spin glass model and compute various physical properties.
Findings
Exact results were reproduced for the van Hemmen model.
Physical quantities like energy, specific heat, and susceptibility were evaluated at all temperatures.
The multicanonical algorithm proved effective for this class of models.
Abstract
We studied the performance of the multicanonical algorithm by simulating the van Hemmen spin glass model and reproduced the exact results for this mean field model. Physical quantities such as energy density, specific heat, susceptibility and order parameters are evaluated at all temperatures.
