Persistent spin and mass currents and Aharonov-Casher effect
A. V. Balatsky, B. L. Altshuler

TL;DR
This paper discusses how spin-orbit interaction induces persistent spin and mass currents in a ring through the Aharonov-Casher effect, proposing an experiment with $^3He-A_1$ to observe this phenomenon.
Contribution
It introduces a new experimental proposal to observe persistent spin and mass currents caused by the Aharonov-Casher effect in superfluid helium-3.
Findings
Proposal of an experiment with $^3He-A_1$ phase
Prediction of excitation of supercurrents due to the effect
Insight into spin-orbit interaction effects in superfluid systems
Abstract
Spin-orbit interaction produces persistent spin and mass currents in the ring via the Aharonov-Casher effect. The experiment in phase, in which this effect leads to the excitation of mass and spin supercurrent is proposed.
