Triplet pairing and upper critical field in the mixed state of d-wave superconductors
V.V. Kabanov

TL;DR
This paper investigates the emergence of a triplet component in the order parameter of d-wave superconductors within the vortex phase, analyzing its spatial behavior and effects on the upper critical field under different spin-orbit coupling strengths.
Contribution
It reveals the generation of a triplet component in the vortex phase of d-wave superconductors and examines its spatial variations and impact on critical fields considering spin-orbit coupling.
Findings
Triplet component is generated in the vortex phase.
Spatial variations depend on spin-orbit coupling strength.
Unusual temperature dependence of the upper critical field.
Abstract
We show that an additional triplet component of the order parameter is generated in the vortex phase of the d-wave superconductor. Spatial variations of the triplet component are analyzed for a strong spin-orbit coupling. Corrections to the London equation and an unusual temperature dependence of the upper critical field, are obtained in the case of the weak spin-orbit coupling.
