M. Kobets, K. Dergachev, E. Khatsko

TL;DR
This study investigates the magnetic susceptibility and EPR spectrum of CsPr(MoO4)2, revealing a quasi-doublet ground state and specific g-factors, enhancing understanding of its magnetic properties at low temperatures.
Contribution
The paper provides detailed experimental data on the magnetic anisotropy and ground state of CsPr(MoO4)2, which was not previously characterized.
Findings
Ground state is a quasi-doublet.
Determined g-factors: gc=1.54, ga<0.1, gb<0.1.
Energy gap of 0.2 cm-1 identified.
Abstract
The temperature dependencies of magnetic susceptibility in temperature range 4.2-250 K along the principal magnetic axes as well as frequency-field dependence EPR spectrum at helium temperature in basic plane was studied. It is found that ground state of CsPr(MoO4)2, is the quasi-doublet. The experimental values of g-factors gc=1.54; ga<0.1; gb<0.1 and energy gap 0,2 cm-1 was determined
