Comment on "Exchange bias-like phenomenon in SrRuO3" by Pi et al (Appl. Phys. Lett. 88, 102502 (2006)
Lior Klein

TL;DR
This paper critiques a previous claim about exchange bias in SrRuO3, arguing that the observed data aligns with typical ferromagnetic behavior rather than true exchange bias phenomena.
Contribution
It clarifies that the data in Pi et al.'s study does not demonstrate exchange bias but is consistent with standard ferromagnetic properties.
Findings
Data aligns with normal ferromagnetic behavior
No evidence of true exchange bias phenomenon
Clarification of misinterpretation in prior work
Abstract
Pi et al report in their letter [1] that SrRuO3 exhibits "exchange bias-like phenomenon". In our comment we would like to point out that the data presented in the letter is qualitatively different from what is known as exchange-bias behavior; furthermore, it is completely consistent with normal behavior of ferromagnetic materials.
