Decoherence and Rabi oscillations in a qubit coupled to a quantum two-level system
S. Ashhab, J. R. Johansson, Franco Nori

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent findings on how a qubit interacts with a quantum two-level system, focusing on decoherence effects and the qubit's behavior under external oscillating fields.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive analysis of decoherence and Rabi oscillations in a coupled qubit-two-level system model, highlighting new insights into their dynamics.
Findings
Decoherence times are significantly affected by the coupling strength.
Rabi oscillations exhibit unique signatures due to the quantum two-level system.
The response of the qubit varies with different external field parameters.
Abstract
In this paper we review some of our recent results on the problem of a qubit coupled to a quantum two-level system. We consider both the decoherence dynamics and the qubit's response to an oscillating external field.
