B.A. van Tiggelen, D. Anache, A. Ghysels

TL;DR
This paper investigates how the scattering mean free path influences the spatial phase correlation and topological charge fluctuations in 2D and 3D Gaussian random media.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of the dependence of phase correlations and topological charge fluctuations on the mean free path in complex media.
Findings
Phase correlation functions vary with mean free path.
Topological charge fluctuations are affected by scattering properties.
Results enhance understanding of wave behavior in disordered systems.
Abstract
We study the spatial correlation function of the phase and its derivative, and related, fluctuations of topological charge, in two and three dimensional random media described by Gaussian statistics. We investigate their dependence on the scattering mean free path.
