TL;DR
This paper critically examines a previous model for Feshbach resonances in optical lattices, highlighting logical inconsistencies and demonstrating that the model fails to accurately describe the phenomena.
Contribution
It provides a detailed critique of the existing model, clarifying its limitations and emphasizing the need for more accurate theoretical descriptions.
Findings
Identifies logical inconsistencies in the previous model
Shows the model cannot describe Feshbach resonances in optical lattices
Highlights the necessity for improved theoretical frameworks
Abstract
We point out some logical inconsistencies in the model proposed in [Phys. Rev. A 71, 043604 (2005)] as well as in the calculations performed on it. The proposed model is not able to describe Feshbach resonances in optical lattices.
