R. Bischof, P.R. Crompton

TL;DR
This paper investigates the leading corrections to finite-size scaling in mixed-spin quantum chains at critical points, revealing how topological ground state changes influence these corrections.
Contribution
It introduces new insights into finite-size scaling corrections for mixed-spin chains at criticality, focusing on topological ground state transformations.
Findings
Identifies leading corrections to finite-size scaling relations.
Links topological ground state changes to scaling corrections.
Provides a framework for analyzing mixed-spin chain criticality.
Abstract
We identify the leading corrections to Finite-Size Scaling relations for the correlation length and twist order parameter of three mixed-spin quantum spin chains for the critical feature that develops at, , corresponding to a change in the topological realisation of the groundstates.
