Thermodynamic properties of the Dicke model in the strong-coupling regime
Giuseppe Liberti, Rosa Letizia Zaffino

TL;DR
This paper investigates the thermodynamic properties of the Dicke model in the strong-coupling regime by developing a high-temperature perturbative expansion and exploring its relation to the one-dimensional Ising model.
Contribution
It introduces a perturbative approach to analyze the Dicke model's thermodynamics and links it to the collective Ising model, providing new insights into their connection.
Findings
Perturbative expansion of the partition function in the high-temperature limit.
Established connections between the Dicke model and the one-dimensional Ising model.
Provided analytical expressions for thermodynamic quantities.
Abstract
We discuss the problem of a N two-level systems interacting with a single radiation mode in the strong-coupling regime. The thermodynamic properties of Dicke model are analyzed developing a perturbative expansion of the partition function in the high-temperature limit and we use this method to investigate the connections between the Dicke and the collective one-dimensional Ising model
