Decoupling of self-diffusion and structural relaxation during a fragile-to-strong crossover in a kinetically constrained lattice gas
Albert C. Pan, Juan P. Garrahan, David Chandler

TL;DR
This paper introduces a lattice gas model that captures the fragile-to-strong transition in supercooled liquids, demonstrating non-monotonic decoupling phenomena observed experimentally.
Contribution
It presents a novel interpolated kinetically constrained lattice gas model that reproduces the fragile-to-strong crossover and associated decoupling behavior.
Findings
Model exhibits fragile-to-strong transition
Reproduces non-monotonic decoupling observed in experiments
Provides insights into the dynamics of supercooled liquids
Abstract
We present an interpolated kinetically constrained lattice gas model which exhibits a transition from fragile to strong supercooled liquid behavior. We find non-monotonic decoupling that is due to this crossover and is seen in experiment.
