TL;DR
This paper investigates a symmetric vertex model with 10 configurations using CTMRG, identifying a critical point that belongs to the Ising universality class, thus contributing to understanding phase transitions in such models.
Contribution
It introduces the application of CTMRG to analyze a symmetric vertex model with 10 configurations and characterizes its critical point within the Ising universality class.
Findings
Identified the critical point of the model.
Confirmed the universality class as Ising.
Demonstrated the effectiveness of CTMRG for this analysis.
Abstract
We study a symmetric vertex model, that allows 10 vertex configurations, by use of the corner transfer matrix renormalization group (CTMRG), a variant of DMRG. The model has a critical point that belongs to the Ising universality class.
