Various approximations for nucleation kinetics under smooth external conditions
Victor Kurasov

TL;DR
This paper compares various simple approximations for nucleation kinetics with precise numerical solutions, demonstrating that the approximations have sufficiently small errors for practical use.
Contribution
It introduces and evaluates multiple simple approximations for nucleation kinetics, validating their accuracy against detailed numerical solutions.
Findings
All approximations have small relative errors.
Approximations are sufficiently accurate for practical applications.
The study provides guidance on choosing suitable approximations.
Abstract
Several simple approximations for the evolution during the nucleation period have been presented. All of them have been compared with precise numerical solution and the errors have been estimated. All relative errors are enough small.
