Jianxiang Tian, Yuanxing Gui

TL;DR
This paper generalizes the Van der Waals equation into a universal form, demonstrating its special case and providing a new equation suitable for modeling liquid-gas coexistence in argon-like systems.
Contribution
It introduces a universal form of the Van der Waals equation, extending its applicability and identifying its relation as a special case.
Findings
Universal form of the Van der Waals equation derived
New equation accurately models liquid-gas coexistence
Localization of the universal form achieved
Abstract
We extend the Van der Waals equation of state to a universal form and find that the van der Waals equation of state is a special condition of this form. Then a good form of the equation of state for a balanced liquid-gas coexistence canonical argon-like system is given. The localization of this universal form concludes the paper.
