TL;DR
This paper introduces a straightforward method to synthesize lead sulphide nanocrystals within a conjugated polymer, demonstrating electronic coupling for potential use in heterojunction optoelectronic devices.
Contribution
It presents a novel one-pot synthesis technique for PbS nanocrystals in MEH-PPV and shows electronic coupling between components.
Findings
Successful synthesis of PbS nanocrystals in MEH-PPV
Evidence of electronic coupling between nanocrystals and polymer
Potential applications in heterojunction optoelectronics
Abstract
We report a simple one pot process for the preparation of lead sulphide (PbS) nanocrystals in the conjugated polymer MEH-PPV, and we demonstrate electronic coupling between the two components.
