Formation of an order in a system of exciton condensed phase islands in quantum wells
V. I. Sugakov

TL;DR
This paper develops a theory for the formation of ordered structures in exciton condensed phases within quantum wells, explaining observed periodic fragmentation in luminescence patterns around laser spots.
Contribution
It introduces a theoretical model for exciton condensed phase formation in 2D systems, explaining experimental observations of luminescence ring fragmentation.
Findings
Explains periodic luminescence fragmentation in quantum wells.
Provides a theoretical framework for exciton condensed phases.
Aligns with recent experimental observations.
Abstract
A theory of exciton condensed phase creation in two-dimensional system is presented. The theory is applied to explain the appearance of the periodical fragmentation which was observed last years in luminescence from the ring around laser spot in crystal with double quantum wells.
