E. A Kochetov, A. Ferraz

TL;DR
This paper investigates the constraints imposed by SU(2) symmetry on mean field slave-particle methods used to analyze the phase diagram of the t-J model, highlighting limitations in their applicability.
Contribution
It reveals how SU(2) transformation properties restrict the use of mean field slave-particle approximations in modeling the t-J model's phase diagram.
Findings
SU(2) symmetry imposes specific restrictions on slave-particle order parameters
Limitations of mean field slave-particle methods are identified
Implications for accurately describing the t-J model's phases
Abstract
We show that the transformation properties of the mean field slave boson/fermion order parameters under an action of the global SU(2) group impose certain restrictions on their applications to describe the phase diagram of the t-J model.
