Phenomenological renormalizaiton group approach to the anisotropic two-layer Ising model
B. Mirza, T. Mardani

TL;DR
This paper applies a phenomenological renormalization group approach to analyze the anisotropic two-layer Ising model, demonstrating it shares the same universality class as the 2D Ising model, thus providing insights into phase transition behavior.
Contribution
It introduces a phenomenological renormalization group method to study the anisotropic two-layer Ising model and establishes its universality class as equivalent to the 2D Ising model.
Findings
The anisotropic two-layer Ising model belongs to the same universality class as the 2D Ising model.
Symmetric couplings in the model lead to universal critical behavior.
The method confirms the universality class through renormalization group analysis.
Abstract
The anisotropic two-layer Ising model is studied by the phenomenological renormalizaiton group method. It is found that the anisotropic two-layer Ising model with symmetric couplings belongs to the same universality class as the two dimensional Ising model.
