Modification to the Van der Waals Equation of State
Jianxiang Tian, Yuanxing Gui

TL;DR
This paper introduces a modification to the Van der Waals equation by adding a temperature factor, resulting in improved phase diagrams and better correlation of reduced pressure and temperature for argon-like systems.
Contribution
The paper proposes a new temperature-dependent modification to the Van der Waals equation, enhancing its accuracy for phase diagram predictions.
Findings
Improved phase diagram accuracy.
Better correlation between reduced pressure and temperature.
Applicable to argon-like systems.
Abstract
In this paper, we modify the VDW equation of state by adding a temperature factor to it. As a result, we give out a good phase diagram and the correlation of the reduced pressure and the reduced temperature when a balanced liquid-gas coexistence canonical argon-like system is considered.
