TL;DR
This paper extends the periodic Anderson model to include nearest neighbor attraction between f-electrons, analyzing the resulting d-wave superconductivity phase diagram using the X-boson method and comparing it to s-wave cases.
Contribution
It introduces a novel extension of the PAM with attractive interactions and applies the X-boson approach to study d-wave superconductivity.
Findings
Superconducting phase diagram for d-wave symmetry analyzed
Comparison with isotropic s-wave superconductivity results
Insights into the effects of nearest neighbor attraction
Abstract
From an extension of the periodic Anderson model (PAM) in the limit taking into account the effect of a nearest neighbor attractive interaction between -electrons, we compare the obtained superconducting phase diagram of a two dimensional d-wave superconductor with the results obtained for an isotropic s-wave superconductor employing the X-boson method.
