Oleg Derzhko, Taras Krokhmalskii

TL;DR
This paper investigates the dynamic zz spin correlations in a two-dimensional square-lattice spin-1/2 isotropic XY model using Jordan-Wigner fermionization, highlighting the impact of interchain interactions on quasi-one-dimensional systems.
Contribution
It provides a detailed calculation of the zz structure factor in 2D XY models, incorporating anisotropy and interchain effects, which advances understanding of their dynamic properties.
Findings
Calculated wave vector- and frequency-dependent structure factor.
Identified the influence of interchain interactions on dynamics.
Enhanced understanding of quasi-one-dimensional spin systems.
Abstract
Using the Jordan-Wigner fermionization in two dimensions we obtain the zz wave vector- and frequency-dependent structure factor for the spin-1/2 isotropic XY model on a spatially anisotropic square lattice. We use the obtained results to discuss a role of the interchain interaction for the dynamic properties of quasi-one-dimensional systems.
