Unified "micro"- and "macro-" evolution of eco-systems: Self-organization of a dynamic network
Dietrich Stauffer, Debashish Chowdhury

TL;DR
This paper extends a dynamic eco-system network model to enhance stability and realism in describing speciation, unifying micro- and macro-evolution processes within a self-organizing framework.
Contribution
It introduces a stabilized and more realistic extension to the existing eco-system model, unifying micro- and macro-evolution with self-organization.
Findings
Achieved stabilization of the eco-system model.
Enhanced realism in modeling speciation.
Unified micro- and macro-evolution processes.
Abstract
Very recently we have developed a dynamic network model for eco-systems that achieved ``unification'' of ``micro'' and ``macro''-evolution. We now propose an extension of our model so as to stabilize the eco-system and describe {\it speciation} in a more realistic manner.
