Fisher zeros and Potts zeros of the Q-state Potts model for nonzero external magnetic field
Seung-Yeon Kim

TL;DR
This paper investigates the distribution of Fisher zeros and Potts zeros in the complex temperature and Q-plane for the one-dimensional Q-state Potts model under a nonzero external magnetic field, revealing insights into phase transition behavior.
Contribution
It provides an exact analysis of the partition function zeros for the 1D Potts model with external field, extending understanding of complex zeros beyond zero-field cases.
Findings
Exact characterization of Fisher zeros in the complex temperature plane.
Distribution patterns of Potts zeros in the complex Q-plane.
Insights into phase transition signatures from zeros in external magnetic fields.
Abstract
The properties of the partition function zeros in the complex temperature plane (Fisher zeros) and in the complex plane (Potts zeros) are investigated for the -state Potts model in an arbitrary nonzero external magnetic field , using the exact partition function of the one-dimensional model.
